Christopher Harris Ward

Christopher Harris Ward, 42, of Scottsville, VA, passed away suddenly on October 10, 2021.  He was a devoted Son, Brother, Father, and Pop-Pop. He was a man who enjoyed everything life had to give to the fullest. He is survived by his loving parents, Shelby Miller, Cliff Miller, William Ward, and Gail Ward; children, Brittany Caryn Ward, Andrew Lee Ward, Kevin Patrick Ward and Lindsey Kathreen Ward, whom he raised with Rebecca Lynn Powell; sister, Scotti Gipson; brother-in-law, Gregory Gipson; step-sister, Shelia Maupin; grandchildren, Creed Shepherd and McCoy Shepherd; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and special friends whom he held remarkably close to his heart. He is also survived by his cousin, Brian; girlfriend, Lara Dugolinsky; and his loyal companion and best friend, Cash, his dog.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 4pm-8pm at Sheridan Funeral Home, 4626 Cedar Lane Road, Kent Store, VA 23084 . Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11am at Fox Memorial Baptist Church, 2846 West River Road, Scottsville VA, 24590 . Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Chris’ grandmother, Kathreen Jennings.
