Thomas Charles Fredrick

Thomas Charles Fredrick, went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2025, after battling a long illness. Born on August 23, 1964, to the late David and Nancy Fredrick, Tom was also predeceased by his brother, David Fredrick, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Fredrick, and his brother, Jim Fredrick, along with his wife, Ruth. Thomas took pride in his role as a devoted father to his children: Jeffrey (and wife Jenn), Elizabeth (and husband Todd), Brittany (and partner Kevin), Breanna, Jason Brown (and wife Candice), and William Haussmann. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren – Landon (and partner Carrigon), Kayden (and partner A.J.), Michelle, Brooklyn, Shane, Isabella, Adam (AJ), Earby, and Mia – brought him immense joy and happiness.

Born in Minnesota, Tom was raised in Mosinee, Wisconsin, where he formed lasting friendships with Paul, Troy, Beaver, and Duane. He carried these fond memories into his later years spent in Charlottesville, where he made many more friends. An avid sports enthusiast, Tom was a devoted lifelong supporter of the Green Bay Packers, embracing his passion for the game with enthusiasm.

The family expresses their gratitude to the medical teams at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital and Hospice of the Piedmont for their unwavering support during this difficult time.
