Stephen James Nelson, affectionately known as Steve, of Louisa, VA has gone to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 64. Born to Thomas and Julia Nelson on August 7, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio. Steve is survived by his three children; Selena Proffitt (husband Stephan), Lehane Nelson and Sairah Helmic (husband Stephen). In addition to his grandchildren Riley, Brayson, Dawn, Liam, Ian, Nora, Elijah, Elaina and Wren. He is also survived by his sisters Henrietta Kleist, Ellen Nelson and Marian Nelson; as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was a hard working man who held many talents with a strong will and a generous heart. Steve was fulfilled with an adventurous life; enduring a career in construction and a vast passion for traveling. He will forever be loved and missed as he rests in Heaven alongside his daughter, Stephanie Nelson.
A celebration of Steve's astonishing life will be held at a later date that is to be determined.
