Rose Puffenbarger

Rose Puffenbarger, aged 78, of Gum Spring, Virginia, passed away on November 30, 2025. Born on December 8, 1946, she was the daughter of Charles Edward Rose and Grace Virginia Phillips.

Rose is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Bruce Puffenbarger; her son Ashby E. Seay and his wife Barbara; her brother, Phillip Rose, and his wife, Betty; her grandchildren, Ashby J. Seay and Chris Allen; her great-grandchildren, Braylen Seay, Hailee Seay, Georgia Seay, Easton Seay, Gabriella Allen, and Isabella Allen; as well as her niece, Sherri Rose, and nephew, Phillip Rose. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Professionally, Rose made a significant impact in her role in Account Management for Capital One. She was also an active member of Ragland Memorial Baptist Church, where she contributed her time and kindness visiting fellow church members who were unable to get out. Her passions included caring for her beloved cats, nurturing her flower garden, and volunteering at the church in various capacities, including women's studies, vacation Bible school, and Awanas.

A service to honor her memory will be announced at a later date. Rose Puffenbarger will be remembered for her warmth, dedication to family, and unwavering commitment to her community. She leaves behind a cherished legacy in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
