Robert Delconte

Robert DelConte (Cody),73, of Goochland County passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on December 13, 2024.

He was born on July 22, 1951, to George & Hilda DelConte.

He is survived by his Wife Wanda, his son Jason, his daughter Heather, his grandsons: Aaron Whitaker, Levi DelConte, Chase Stinson, his daughter in law Karen, and his step grandchildren Ellie and Alana. He was preceded in Death by his parents, his brother George DelConte and his nephew Anthony DelConte.

Robert was always known as Cody as when he moved to Virginia and acquired a job his boss gave him that name as he had problems trying to say his last name. His parents always called him Bob or Bobby so he had many names. After a while he started his own roofing business "Cody's Roofing" which he had for many years. He took drum lessons as a child and continued playing until his death. He had several dogs Lonnie, Susie, Maggie, Buddy, and Lady who is currently our new dog. He also acquired a rabbit called Bugsy. He is a hot tempered Italian and wants it his way regardless of what the situation was. He was a wonderful husband, friend, and father. His favorite show was the Jerry Springer show. He also had a sweet tooth for anything chocolate. He was loved by everyone regardless of his loud mouth and temper. We will miss him dearly and hope and pray that the Lord won't kick him out of heaven.
