Rebecca Shoemaker

Rebecca Shoemaker, 50, of Louisa, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2025, in her beloved recliner chair. Born on October 16, 1974, Rebecca was the cherished daughter of Robert Shoemaker and Lillie Trent, who precede her in death.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Crystal Lynn Shoemaker, and her seven children: Christy Dishman, Brandon Dishman, Brittney Dishman, Asia Barker, Nyia Barker, Elaina Barker, and Caroline Sprouse. Rebecca's legacy continues through her granddaughter, Ivy Jean Barker, who brought immense joy to her life.

Rebecca dedicated herself to her family as a homemaker, passionately raising her seven children. She found joy in simple pleasures like camping and fishing, and her favorite moments were spent hosting events with family and friends. A true country girl at heart, she adored her children and cherished her time with her grandbaby.

A memorial service in honor of Rebecca will take place at 2:00 PM on September 6, 2025, at Macedonia Church, 17 Byrd Mill Rd, Louisa, VA. Her warmth and love will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
