Lydia Hart

Lydia Faye Hart, of Mineral, Virginia passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 85.

She was married to her husband, Reverend Hubert Hart for 68 years. Lydia was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. She loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, through her love of music.

Lydia was predeceased by a son, Jason Hart, and a grandson, Colin Hart. She is survived by her husband, Hubert Hart, her children, Jeffry Hart (Susan), Jennifer Barlow (Greg) and Jonathan Hart, her grandchildren, Slade Hart (Karen), Terrell Barlow (Susan), Jessica Perkinson (Bobby), Elizabeth Barlow-Hamby (Penny), Bethany Hart, Victoria Hart (Ben) and Benjamin Hart, and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Dogwood Baptist Church, 5677 New Line Road, Gum Spring, VA 23065, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Dogwood Baptist Church on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 1-573 Bridge Rd, Mineral, VA 23117.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Legacy Hospice of Charlottesville.
