Judea Summerbell Crawford

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Judea Summerbell Crawford departed at home on August 1, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born on April 2nd, 1947, to James Monroe Crawford and Polly Jane Crawford. Judea was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew him.

Judea built a career in setting up mobile homes, demolition and tree work. He had a wonderful knack for solving problems. Judea truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family. Judea loved going to flea markets and traveling.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Emerson Crawford, Julis Crawford, Genesis Crawford, Benjamin Crawford, and Dennie Crawford. He is survived by siblings Kim Crawford, Van Crawford, Paulette Crawford, Carson Crawford, Barksdale Crawford, Titus Crawford, Edison Crawford, Paige Crawford, Geraldine Foley, and children Brandon Crawford, Stephanie Crawford, Karesa Crawford Chisholm, and Tina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Judea will be greatly missed.
