Lucy’s favorite ways to enjoy time on the farm were creating paintings to hang in the house, working in her garden, cultivating interesting flowers, traveling, watching her beloved birds (the swarms of hummingbirds were a si ght ) , and enjoying time with her dogs and “ grand”dogs .
She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Harris, sister, Lois E. Goodman, and son, Charles “Chuck” Reavely Harris. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia “Cindy” H. Beazell (Perry), sons, Gregory E. (Ann), Bruce A. ( Lockie ), and daughter-in-law, Judy Ann Faust, along with five grandchildren; Ian Elliott, William Nordeck , Michae l Morgan, Sarah Mikaela, and Elizabeth Ann, and three great-grandchildren; Blair Nicole, Addison James, and Idris Elliott . She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Michael Whalen. A memor ial service will be held at Macedonia United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 30 th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Lucy may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church Building Fund for her dream of bells in the church steeple.
