Geraldine Marks

Geraldine Marks, lovingly known as Geri, passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2026, at the age of 70. She was born on March 25, 1956, to the late John and Catherine Tighe.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Marks, and her brother, Timothy Tighe. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory.

She is survived by her daughter, Elisha Savino and her husband Jason, and their children, Emma, Patricia, and Vinny; her son, Kelcey Marks and his wife Felicia, and their children, Riley, Wyatt, Rosie, and Grayson: her son Ryan Marks and his children Olivia Marks and Charles Baicy.

Geraldine is also survived by her siblings, Margaret Fornieri, Donald Tighe, Regina Paradise, and Robert Tighe, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by her love and kindness.

Geraldine’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren and took pride in watching her family grow. Her love, strength, and memories will live on through each of them.

Though she will be deeply missed, Geraldine’s memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely will continue to be carried forward by the generations she leaves behind. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, 12:15pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 828 Buford Rd, Richmond Va.
