Frances Littleford

Frances Mariah Woodson Littleford was born in Bremo Bluff, Virginia on June 19, 1930, and departed this life on February 8, 2026.

She was 95 years old. She was the second of seventeen children born to Jake and Virginia Woodson. After attending school in Fluvanna County, she moved to Washington D.C. where she married Joseph Lemuel Littleford. They were married for 39 years until his death in 2004. Frances was a lively and spirited lady. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Littleford and her parents Jake and Virginia Woodson. She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters Florence Washington and Ruth Carrol, two brothers Lindsay Woodson and Robert Woodson, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, February 28th, 2026, at Sheridan Funeral Home, 4626 Cedar Lane Road, Kents Store, Virginia. With interment to follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Glenarvon Road, Bremo Bluff, Virginia.
