Eula Parrish D'Antoni
EULA PARRISH D'ANTONI, 99, of Goochland, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023. She was the daughter of Charles Milton Parrish and Emma Womack Parrish.
She was proud to have been one of the first female Correctional Officers hired by the James River Department of Corrections for Men. She was preceded in death by her husband's John Allen and Vincent D'Antoni along with her children, Mary Jane Soles, Jean Swanson, Lawrence Allen, Steve Allen and baby John Lewis Allen.
She is survived by daughters, Sandra Allen Gee of Harrisonburg, Kim Allen of Williamsburg; Her son David Allen of Goochland; her "adopted" son Ed Lunsford of Harrisonburg; Her sister Barbara Watson (Luther) of Powhatan; Her 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Norman's Funeral Chapel, 2982 River Road West, Goochland on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 2:00pm with a visitation to take place an hour prior to the service. (1-2pm). Interment will immediately follow at Perkins Baptist Church, 3146 Hadensville-Fife Rd, Goochland, VA.
Norman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
