Donna Mae Jewell

On January 17, 2026, our sweet mom, Donna (GG), went to be with the Lord. She was an amazing Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Mentor, and Friend. Her heart was to serve others in any way possible. Her love and devotion to her children often found her playing both the Mother and Father roles. Many people considered her “Mom” or “GG.” And in her professional clown days, she was known as “Sparkles” and then “Tag-Along.” This special lady wore many hats. She was the great overcomer of all things and instilled that attitude in all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and everyone else, lucky enough to know her. Sewing was a lifelong passion. She sewed quilts, clothes, and most recently making fabric bags in all shapes and colors, so that she could give them to people simply to make them smile. We will truly miss her beautiful smile, attitude, humor, and love.

After the passing of her husband, Donald, she enjoyed living and traveling with her kids.

She is survived by her daughter Danna Schutte Everett [Mark Everett], her son David Jewell [Beth], her daughter Dawn Redwine [Kenny], her son Darren Jewell [Xigui]; her beloved grandchildren Ashley, Justin Tyler [Jayme “Ducky”], Nichole [Josh], Cody [Bekah], Kyle [Kyle], Yalee; and beloved great-grandchildren Tory, Haylie, Connor, Jaylen, Maddie, Julian, Questin, Jack, Ryann, and Drea, Declan, Darcie, Keziah, Clementine and Teagan; as well as a niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Daniel Jewell and two great-grandchildren Faith and Asher.
