Jason Christopher Copeland

Jason (Jas) Christopher Copeland, 41, of Palmyra, VA passed away February 3 rd 2020. He was born on January 19, 1979 in Houston, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Copeland and Cindy McWilliams; his grandparents, Leonard and Phyllis (Nanny) Copeland; 1 aunt, Brenda Sheffield and 1 uncle, Robin Bubb. He is survived by his brother, Chad Copeland and wife, Jessie, of Scottsville, VA; 2 sisters, Ashley Fitzgerald and husband, Mike, of Scottsville, VA and Stephanie Campot of Newport News, VA; 2 nephews, Connor and Leonard; 1 niece, Alannah; grandparents, Robert (Bob) and Donna Bubb of Pennsylvania; 2 cousins, Stephanie Pumphrey of Texas and Steven McDonald of Texas; Gina Schimming and her husband Don of Somerset, VA; girlfriend Chrystal Heuer and her son Daniel of Coulterville, IL and a host of extended family and friends.  Jason had a deep passion for music and cooking. He had a way of telling a story that made you feel like you were there when it happened.  He loved all types of movies and loved reciting “ Tommy Boy ” with his sister, Ashley. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by many. A memorial service will be held at the Palmyra Firehouse at 14567 James Madison Highway, Palmyra, VA 22963 on Saturday, February 15 th 2020 at 11am . In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me page has been set up in honor of Jason.
