Conway Randall Cook, age 66, a resident of Goochland, VA passed away in his home on May 24, 2026. He was born in South Boston, VA on February 3, 1960, to Maphis Killey Cook and Gypsy Carol Nimmo Cook, both preceding him in death, as well as his brother Millard Arvell Cook. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Sowadski, a resident of Midlothian, VA, three sisters: Yvonne Muench and husband Donald of Palmyra, VA; Yvette Barrack and husband Keith of Newport News, VA, and Tracey Wilcox and husband Keith in Rexburg, ID; along with several nieces, nephews and their families. Conway was an avid seafood salesman, cook and card player. He began seafood sales as a teenager which paired well with his love of fishing. Conway's passion for food was impetus for employment as a skilled cook at various restaurants.
He was an enthusiastic Pinochle player and was always eager to play cards. Unfortunately, due to diabetes Conway was unable to pursue his newly acquired passion for horticulture and dream of building a greenhouse. As a Christian, Conway found solace in reading the Bible and can now rest in the care of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family would like to express gratitude to Norman's Funeral Home of Goochland, for their professionalism and tender handling of Conway's final arrangements. A celebration of life will be held privately at the family's discretion
