Clinton H. Nicholas

Mr. Clinton H. Nicholas (Nick), 89, of Goochland, Virginia, passed away on October 23, 2025.

Clinton is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carolyn Nicholas, daughter Andrea Smith, son Kevin Nicholas, and granddaughter Kaitlyn Short (Dylan). He was preceded in death by his parents Heber and Mattie Nicholas and younger brother William R. Nicholas (Nick).

Other than his time in the army, Clinton was a Goochland county resident his whole life. Clinton volunteered and gave back to that very same community through Goochland Cares and was a founding member of Company 3 volunteer rescue squad, combined for over a decade of service. He was an avid member of Elpis Christian Church where he served many roles throughout his 60 plus years of membership. Clinton provided for his family owning and running his own homebuilding company, building many houses in the Goochland community and surrounding areas. His passion and craftsmanship of carpentry combined with his love of hotrods kept him very busy long after "retirement".
