Clarence Howard LeSueur

Clarence Howard LeSueur, 88, of Goochland, Virginia, passed away on July 4, 2025. Clarence was born on January 2, 1937, in Arvonia, Virginia, to Caroline and Overton LeSueur. 

He is preceded in death by the absolute love of his life Fay Smith LeSueur, his mother and father, and his nephew Richard Wootten. He is survived by his daughter Jacqueline Bagby (Robbie); two grandsons Coleman Bagby (Brooke) and Matthew Bagby (Jessica); three great grandchildren Kaylynn Thomas, Caroline Bagby, and Mason Bagby; sister Winnie W. Brown; brother Thom L. LeSueur. 

Clarence retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond after 31 years of service as a Sargent in the Security Department. Clarence was a Charter Member of The DeWitt Clinton Masonic Lodge #141 for 50 years. He was an avid member of Elpis Christian Church for almost 60 years. Once Clarence retired, he enjoyed traveling, working in the community, and most of, all time with his family. 

The family will receive friends and family at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 11, with services at 2 p.m. at Elpis Christian Church, 2703 Elpis Church Road Maidens, VA 23102. Interment will follow after the service. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Elpis Christian Church.
